From a Friend:

Outstanding Movie Coming on Texas TV

Here's a historical fact you don't get taught in school. One example of when Anglo-Americans committed acts of terrorism against Mejicanos/Latinos is shown in this new movie, Border Bandits. Good educational tool - teach the youth and the adults!

"The film opens a door on a previously untold story: the killings of between 3,000 and 5,000 Mexican-Americans in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas during the so-called bandit war. " - D Magazine
Border Bandits airs on Texas PBS stations, May 16, 9:00 pm

On May 16, 9:00 pm, there will be a state-wide broadcast of BORDER BANDITS.

Those great heros of legend, the Texas Rangers, apparently joined vigilantes in murdering Tejanos in the Valley between 1915 and 1920. Check out the movie on TV, and read Revolution in Texas, by Benjamin Johnson to answer the interesting historical quiz: "How did big Anglo corporations get all the good farmland?"
